Our harp/wire style cutting machines are versatile and can be used for a wide range of applications, including cutting cheese, butter, tofu, certain types of dough, softer types of soaps and chocolate, even some softer, pre-processed meats such as ham.

Whether you need to cut products into cubes, sticks, slabs, bars, loaves, etc. GenMac can help. These types of cheese portions are primarily used for cutting into smaller sellable sizes (loaves, chunks, sticks, etc.).

The Model 3005 Tu-Way looks similar to the the 3005LD but it has a “throat” that is about 5” taller and can accept much taller blocks of food product. For example, butter tends to be in 50# or 55# blocks which often have dimensions of 12” X 12” X 12” square. These much taller blocks physically would not fit in the 3005-LD.

Generally speaking, the 3005 is the way to go if you have a very tall product like we tend to see with butter, tofu, date paste, soft shea butter. Etc. There ARE some cheeses that are done in this taller cutter, but those tend to be special size imported blocks.
